Stress, pollution, an inadequate diet and many other factors are harmful to the health of our body, and this can be seen on the outside, too, most frequently on our face. For this reason, it is important that, along with the efforts we make to counteract these negative effects from the inside, we use skincare products for an optimal result.

I had a period when I couldn’t handle any moisturising cream for my face, because I felt none of them was appropriate for my combination skin. I know, moisturising combination skin is difficult, because it is (almost) impossible not to feel that your face is becoming oily and unpleasant. But, as you well know, in combination skin, the T-zone (forehead, nose and chin) is oily, with dilated pores and a shiny aspect, but the rest of the face is dry and looks like it lacks freshness, which is a true daily challenge.

And even when I thought it was impossible to find something that I’d be content with, I found a cream that managed to meet my expectations. It is the FUN’ETHIC hydrating day cream 50 ml, recommended for young persons aged between 20 and 30.

I don’t even know where to start the list of qualities it has! All right, fine, I’ll go randomly, because I think all of them are important and it’s hard for me to rank them:

1. It is a cream dedicated to young people. I’ve been looking for such a cream for a long time, and everything I found was for persons above 30-35, or all-purpose moisturising creams. A young person’s skin does not need such complex care as the skin of a person over the age of 35, in which lines are already visible and need to be acted on, so as to diminish them. However, young skin requires moisturising and protection against pollution and stress, which is what the FUN’ETHIC cream promises.

2. 98.9% of its ingredients are of natural origin, and the cream does not contain paraffin, mineral oils or other petroleum-derived substances. I admit, I was silly enough to use creams with all sorts of perfumes or even alcohol, but I realised quickly enough that all I was doing was damage my face, so I gave them up. Among the ingredients that this face cream contains are: apricot and malt extracts, organic barley extracts, peppermint, orange blossoms, aloe vera, vitamin E, and more.

3. It can be used as a make-up base. Usually, the primers we find in stores are harmful for our skin when used repeatedly, so the best option is to use a moisturising cream instead. The FUN’ETHIC cream fulfils this role very well, as it doesn’t leave the skin oily and has a light texture.

4. It keeps the skin matte. I told you I found a treasure, didn’t I? I really couldn’t moisturise my face without getting that shiny look that I find so unpleasant and unattractive. To be fair, I didn’t use it both in the morning and in the evening, as recommended, because I didn’t feel the need for such intense hydration, but I could easily use it in the morning, and then in the evening, when I’d get home, my face wouldn’t be shiny at all.

5. It is a BIO product and is certified COSMEBIO and SLOW COSMETIQUE. Moreover, the packages are made in a “green” enterprise and are 100% recyclable, and the label is printed using ecological ink.

The only disadvantage of this cream is strictly subjective and it has to do with its smell. As it is made from natural ingredients, the cream smells like plants and orange blossoms, which isn’t really to my liking, but I’m lucky that you can only feel it when you apply the cream, as it doesn’t last on the skin. I really recommend the FUN’ETHIC BIO day cream to young people aged between 20 and 30, and if you want to try it yourself, you can find it at:
