Afterhills 2019 is waiting for you this year in a new location, in Dobovăț, in Iași county. The fun and good vibes will be there for two whole weekends: 23rd-25th August and 30th August-1st September. In the first weekend, you will have the opportunity to listen to artists and bands who will sing live, and in the following weekend you will be delighted by the rhythms of the trap, EDM and trance music.

Come to the Caro Hotel Garden on 23rd, 24th and 25th August at the Artisanal Ice Cream Festival! There will be 3 days of fun, good vibes, but also a lot of goodies for both children and adults.

For children there will be various workshops: face painting, dancing, theater, improvisation and funny tattoos. Wizards and characters who can create animals out of balloons will also be present there. Moreover, children and parents will compete against each other and they will be rewarded at the end with various prizes.

There will be many famous artists on the stage, such as: Liam Gallagher, Disclosure DJ set, Kaiser Chiefs, Kovacs, Underworld, De la Soul, but also Romanian bands, such as Șuie Paparude, The Mono Jacks, Jurjak, FiRMA, Robin and the Backstabbers, Soundopamine, Karpov not Kasparov and Otherside.

If you want to spend a few hours outside, and also to exercise, you are expected at the Ciucaș X3 event. The Ciucaș mountains, Cheia and Prahova county become, between 6th and 8th September, the ideal place for sport and nature lovers.

The 9th Summer Well Festival edition returns this year to the place we all know, Ştirbey Domain in Buftea. Between 10th and 11th August, dozens of surprises will be waiting for you.

Among the artists who will perform on Summer Well’s stage are: The 1975, TENDER, PALE WAVES, Maribou State, Black Honey, The National, Jungle, Razorlight, Zola Blood, Red Rum Club.

One of the boldest independent cinematographic projects in Romania returns with the sixth edition – Marele Picnic ShortsUp. Moving to a new location, in the Mogoșoaia domain, the short film, the art, the music and the nature will make it one of the best festivals of this summer.

Sir Tom Jones returns to Romania on 26th June to perform for the first time on a stage in Cluj-Napoca. He will delight the audience with its beloved songs such as: It's Not Unusual, Kiss, Delilah, I'll Never fall in Love Again and If I Only Knew, but he will also sing tracks from his new albums (Long Lost Suitcase, Spirit in The Room, Praise & Blame).

The only independent festival that brings the theatre to the open air comes with its fifth edition, taking place from 5th to 21st July 2019. During the 17 days of special events, there will be over 15 theatre performances (5 premieres), 18 concerts (jazz, acoustic rock, ballads), exhibitions (photography, painting, wood sculpture, costumes), book launches and workshops (literary, photography, theatre, dance).
