One World Romania awaits you at Cinema Elvire Popesco between 15th and 24th of March, with two series of short films from the Alexandru Sahia Studio’s collection.
The main theme of this edition is the 30 years of democracy that Romania and Eastern Europe have experienced. For 10 days, this topic will be intensely debated to raise the awareness of the effects it has had on the population and beyond.

Being characterized by originality and defined by the period of ’40 – ’60, the retro style is always fashionable, this being highlighted by its elegance and also by the colorful and cozy atmosphere. Also, the vintage style returns to everyone’s attention with pastel shades touched by time.

Being one of the most long-lasting and successful events in Romania, the Royal Charity Concert will bring on stage, at its 11th edition, internationally renowned artists, such as the violinist Ana Tifu and the pianist Mihai Diaconescu, who will be accompanied by The Royal Camerata directed by Constantin Adrian Grigore.

This year, the ShortsUP Big Picnic returns with the 5th edition of short films enjoyed on grass, but also with an extra day in which young cinema-goers can spend some time in nature. This year's event will take place between 27 to 29 July 2018, in the Botanical Garden, on Cotroceni Road no. 32, between 6 PM and 11:30 PM.

Being organized annually in November, UrbanEye Film Festival is an inexhaustible source of histories, where the city is the perfect director. From 7th to 11th November, you are expected at the festival that will take place in Bucharest, at Cinema Elvire Popesco and Apollo 111.

The biggest festival dedicated to the feature film in Romania, TIFF, returns this year with the 17th edition, which will take place in Cluj-Napoca from 25th May to 3rd June 2018.

In addition to the film screenings that will be presented this year at the Transilvania International Film Festival, there will also be related events such as: special events, conferences, workshops, photo exhibitions, cinema art programs for young people and adolescents and many other surprises.

The French Film Festival from Romania returns with the 22nd edition which will take place from 24th April to 6th May in 9 cities in Romania (Bucharest, Cluj, Iași, Timișoara, Arad, Brașov, Constanța, Buzău and Sfântul Gheorghe).
