The French Film Festival from Romania returns with the 22nd edition which will take place from 24th April to 6th May in 9 cities in Romania (Bucharest, Cluj, Iași, Timișoara, Arad, Brașov, Constanța, Buzău and Sfântul Gheorghe).
The competition brings to the audience’s attention the films of the emerging filmmakers, bringing the new generations of directors to the spotlight. Collaborating for the fifth consecutive year with the French magazine „Cahiers du cinéma”, they have decided that this year’s theme of the festival to be „De la scène à l’écran”.

The festival makes a major change this year, moving its 22nd edition in spring, in order to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the events that marked the month of May of that year in France. On this occasion, a special section will present documentaries and fiction films from that period.
