One World Romania awaits you at Cinema Elvire Popesco between 15th and 24th of March, with two series of short films from the Alexandru Sahia Studio’s collection.
The main theme of this edition is the 30 years of democracy that Romania and Eastern Europe have experienced. For 10 days, this topic will be intensely debated to raise the awareness of the effects it has had on the population and beyond.

This year, at One World Romania, the spectators will be able to see approximately 90 documentaries, which will be divided into many themed sections. Also, there will be projections of movies from all over the world, whose main subjects are justice, women’s rights, refugees, but also other subjects that are related to the conditions of individuals across the world.

This year’s edition will be held in 5 locations in Bucharest: Elvire Popesco Cinema – French Institute, ARCUB, Cinemateca Eforie, Cinemateca Union, POINT and #Pavilion32 – Goethe-Institut Bucharest. The ticket price is 120 for a Festival Pass that ensures you access throughout the event, 60 lei for the 5 entries pass, and the tickets from Monday to Friday start from 12 lei. From Monday to Friday, until 7 PM, if you come with your grandmother or grandfather, you will pay only for one ticket, your grandmother or grandfather enjoying free entrance.
