Chinese language is the most difficult language on Earth, but also the most spoken one. Like any other language, it has more dialects and, in most cases, it is impossible for two people to understand each other. However, two people from different regions can smoothly communicate through writing, because in Chinese the writing indicates only the meaning of the words, not the way they are pronounced.

Learning Chinese is a very complex process because there are at least 10 dialects (mandarin, Cantonese, xiang etc.) that require knowing at least 2000 characters, while in order to read a newspaper, you must know over 3000 characters.

Not long ago, Chinese language has started to be increasingly sought-after among top employers, just like many other languages that require years of preparation for knowing them at an advanced level. Therefore, if you are keen on the idea of learning a foreign language, for which you must devote many hours of study, then we recommend a few places in Bucharest where you can do this:

    This University organizes Chinese language courses for beginners and the participation fee is 800 lei for 10 weeks of courses (40 teaching hours). The courses will be held every Saturday between 10:00 and 13:00.

  2. Ariel Foreign Languages Center www.centrul-ariel.ro

    At the Ariel Foreign Languages Center, the Chinese course is structured in 12 modules, each module having 32 hours. Courses will be held twice a week, from 18:00 to 20:00 or from 18:30 to 20:30. The price for each module is 580 lei.

    The Confucius Institute organizes Chinese language courses on several levels, addressing both children and adults. The course has a duration of 10 weeks and the last 2 sessions are free. The training sessions will take place twice a week, and their price is 300 lei per module.

If you want to be among the few Romanians who know the Chinese language and if you want to be out of the ordinary when it comes to things that few of us know, then it is time to stop thinking and to register as soon as possible to a Chinese language course!
