Her artistic beginnings take us into her childhood, when she attended the art school and continued with the graduation of the art high school in the painting section. She completed her studies with the university studies, graduating The National Art University in Bucharest at the Fashion Design Department and then taking the master’s degree in fashion design and art pedagogy.

Her first creation was made in her first year of college, when she made a coat for her colleague. The result was appreciated, her colleague wearing that coat signed Alexandra Calafeteanu for many years. This was the great start of her career that was going to be successful.

The brand will celebrate its 10-years anniversary this winter, and besides her beautiful activity as fashion designer, Alexandra has been a fashion stylist for some well-known Romanian magazines, such as J'Adore, DIVA, Libertatea pentru femei, Unica, and at this moment she is a fashion editor & stylist at Avantaje magazine.

"You are what you wear", said Alexandra Calafeteanu, this being the motto of the designer ever since she began her fashion career. Besides, it defines her collections, and the clothes she creates define every person that wears them. The woman who wears her items is mysterious, attractive and nonconformist. And through each collection, Alexandra Calafeteanu wants to illustrate these defining attributes. Her latest collection is suggestively entitled "Reborn", the concept wanting to show that after the age of 30, the woman is reborn stronger and more beautiful than ever. The collection's muse is the creator herself, who has reached this beautiful age and celebrated with the launch of the collection in April this year.
