Sighișoara is a city located in the heart of Transylvania, with a history of thousands of years. It’s the place where myths about Count Dracula and small stories about Vlad Țepeș were born. To travel back in time to the land of Transylvania, we suggest you some dream destinations which can be visited in the city known as “The Pearl of Transylvania”.

When you step into this city, you will notice that it seems frozen in time, reminding us of the atmosphere that existed centuries ago, about which we know from history or biographical books. The architecture of the houses is unique, just like the hospitality of the people who live there, because it is still inhabited.

To enjoy this view, we recommend you some hotels where you can stay:

      2. Clock Tower – History Museum – Torture Chamber – Museum of Medieval Weapons

  • History Museum of Sighișoara – Inside the museum you can learn the whole story of the single city-museum in Romania and details about the famous character named Dracula. Ticket price per person is 6 lei.

  • Torture Room – This is the ex-military prison of the medieval fortress of Sighișoara, where the convictions of those who did not comply with the law took place. The home court in such cases was the city magistrate. The ticket for visiting this room is 4 lei

  • Medieval Weapon Museum  – Inside the museum you can see arms and military technical equipment, shields and Transylvanian lances. If you wish to visit this museum, you should know that the price of a ticket is 5 lei.

It’s the place where people with high administrative positions lived over time. It has this name because its exterior has a mural painting with a deer in actual size. You have the possibility to stay in this place and the prices starts from 30 Euro per person for one night.

All in all, keep in mind that in Sighișoara you can visit the covered stairs that connect the town and the church on the hill. This scale has 170 steps, its structure has wood at the base and the roof is made out entirely of shingles.
