The Bigăr Waterfall is known in the entire world for its beauty, because it was included in 2013 in a top made by The World Geography where it occupied the 1st place. Located in Caraș-Severin, the waterfall offers a spectacular and unique view.

The Beușnița Waterfall is in the immediate vicinity of the Bigăr Waterfall in the National Park Cheile Nerei. It is a succession of 3 waterfalls that offer an incredible view – the highest of them has 15 meters. You can opt for the same accommodation as the one proposed for the Bigăr Waterfall.

3. Urlătoarea Waterfall

The Urlătoarea Waterfall is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Romania due to its impressive flow and its 15 meters height. Located in the Bucegi Mountains, at 1100 meters altitude near the tourist route to Bucegi Plateau, this waterfall is a true oasis of relaxation.

The Bâlea waterfall is located in the Făgăraș Mountains and it is the largest waterfall in Romania, its height being 60 meters. The access to this waterfall is from the Transfăgărășan road, but only up to Bâlea Waterfall Chalet. From there, it will be a trail of about an hour away.
